Due to climate change floods will occur more and more often, but the population is not ready. How might we ✱raise education and awareness to avoid dangerous and (potentially) mortal behaviors during a flood?
Go Up, an emergency preparedness campaign, was ideated to inform and educate the people about the right behaviors to follow during a flood, using a catchy and unusual tone of voice. The message “Go Up” is very simple, clear and is conveyed with the use of metaphors. The system is a combination of different channels (both ✱digital and analogical) but the main attraction is an interactive installation ideated for the city of Berlin but replicable also in other contexts. ✱ Interaction and gamification are the main methods to communicate the message in the most effective and memorable way.
