Due to climate change floods will occur more and more often, but the population is not ready. How might we raise education and awareness to avoid dangerous and (potentially) mortal behaviors during a flood?

Go Up, an emergency preparedness campaign, was ideated to inform and educate the people about the right behaviors to follow during a flood, using a catchy and unusual tone of voice. The message “Go Up” is very simple, clear and is conveyed with the use of metaphors. The system is a combination of different channels (both digital and analogical) but the main attraction is an interactive installation ideated for the city of Berlin but replicable also in other contexts. Interaction and gamification are the main methods to communicate the message in the most effective and memorable way.
