Schindler, a Swiss elevators company, wants to ✱ change the workflow of its technicians by placing hotspots (Flexpoints) around the city: these become decentralized stores of tools and spare parts and disposal points for technicians working in the area. From there, ✱ technicians leave in light electric vehicles to service, maintain and repair the facilities of surrounding customers. The Schindler Flexpoints ensure that distances and times are reduced, roads are made easier and CO2 is saved.
This new workflow though has to be understood and accepted by the technicians, the ones more effected in the first place. That’s how FlexEnergy was ideated, an ✱ internal health campaign to train the technicians about Flexpoint, preserve and value their health, and smoothly adapt the new workflow according to their capabilities.
